The Wind & Fire series comprises, on the one hand, glass transpositions of the organic Earth vases in papier mâché, but entirely new shapes have also been added to the collection: pieces reminiscent of apothecary jars of yesteryear, not to mention the flasks once used to store the essences destined for perfume-making.

The organic versions in brown, green and dark blue for the fuller proposals, and the narrower ones in sky blue and cognac, all display captivating variations. "The transition between these two palettes evokes the exchange between the sea and the beach," explains Marie, who also reminds us how tufts of natural-coloured twigs emerge from the sand at the water's edge; and how a few polished shards of glass join the pebbles…

A collection of gradients, whether subtle or bold, saluting all those little echoes passing from one environment and one material to another, the secret of powerful and generous Mother Nature. Here, an almost unfathomable vase. Black body and brown top, like an interpretation of the earth tested by the abyss – each one more undefeated than the last, and enhanced by a delicate arrangement of foliage or short-stemmed flowers.
