Despite its compact dimensions, the Tenon Lounge Chair has an expressive character – both hard and soft, strong and graceful – playing on the contrasts between solid wood and upholstered surfaces. A pared-back solid oak construction, assembled using the traditional mortise-and-tenon method, forms a sculptural framework for the seat. The straight lines and sturdiness of the frame blend into a play of bouncing curves, like a shield protecting a tender heart.
