Eddy black marble table lamp 33.6 cm - Normann Copenhagen

A masterpiece of proportions, the Eddy lamp sees a lampshade floating lightly above a solid base with organic shapes to create an object that combines balance and movement. Steel and marble are the main materials for this mood lamp, where the golden sheen of brass adds the finishing touch. It consists of a flat lampshade, balanced on a solid Italian marble hand-made base. The play of proportions of the base gives its pure silhouette a dynamic look, as if in movement. The lampshade and the foot are connected by a round pivot in shiny gold-plated brass, which allows the direction of the lighting to be adjusted. With its lampshade directing the light downwards, the Eddy lamp illuminates itself as well as illuminating around it. The light thus projected onto the marble underlines the variations inherent in this material. This table lamp offers a subdued light, which can be adjusted with the brass dimmer switch, a refined detail on the top of the shade.
