Hans J. Wegner's light, sculptural CH33P chair is based on the ideas and shapes typical of his best designs. The chaise a was designed in 1957 for Carl Hansen & Søn, where elle was manufactured pendant for ten years. After a hiatus of around 45 years, production resumed in 2012.
CH33P's design has caractère and clear organic forms. The height, depth and angles of the elegant chair are carefully adjusted to suit the occupant, and the dimensions of the wood are chosen according to the factors Wegner deemed necessary. The characteristically curved à la backrest is a pressed veneer with visible round caps. The wood construction of the Wegner chair has a vibrant appearance that lends itself to modern interiors.
The seat of the CP33P is padded and upholstered in fabric or leather, increasing comfort and accentuating the chair's aspect luxurious feel.
