The CH33P chair by Hans J. Wegner, light and sculptural, is based on the ideas and forms typical of his finest creations. The chair was designed in 1957 for Carl Hansen & Søn, where it was manufactured for ten years. After a break of around 45 years, production resumed in 2012.
The CH33P design has character and clear organic forms. The height, depth and angles of this elegant chair are carefully adjusted to suit the sitter, and the dimensions of the wood are chosen according to the factors Wegner deemed necessary. The backrest, with its characteristic curve, is a pressed veneer with visible round plugs. The wooden construction of the Wegner chair has a vibrant appearance that lends itself to modern interiors.
The seat of the CP33P is upholstered and covered in fabric or leather, which increases comfort and accentuates the chair's luxurious look.
