Lacquered oak chair 74cm CH33T - Carl Hansen & Søn

The CH33T chair by Hans J. Wegner, light and sculptural, is based on the ideas and forms typical of his finest creations. The chair was designed in 1957 for Carl Hansen & Søn, where it was manufactured for ten years. After a break of around 45 years, production resumed in 2012.
The design of the CH33T has character and clear organic shapes. The height, depth and angles of this elegant chair are carefully adjusted to suit the sitter, and the dimensions of the wood have been chosen according to the factors Wegner deemed necessary. The backrest, with its distinctive curve, is a pressed veneer with visible round covers. The wooden construction of the Wegner chair has a vibrant appearance that lends itself to modern interiors.
