NY11 chair in smoked oak - NORR11

Oak chair that is durable and functional, with a timeless look.
Inspired by the traditional chairs found in Danish primary schools, the NY11 chair features a handcrafted solid oak frame and an oak veneer seat. The chair came about when designers Rune Krøjgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik set themselves the task of designing a modern take on the classic Scandinavian dining chair. Just like a school chair, it had to be both comfortable and extremely durable. The result is a simple, honest chair with a timeless look. The NY11 chair boasts a solid oak frame fitted with a steel footrest for added comfort. Its minimal design means it can be used in a wide variety of settings.
