Inspired by traditional Danish elementary school chairs, the NY11 chair has a handcrafted à la solid oak frame and oak veneer seat. The chaise a was born when designers Rune Krøjgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik set out to créer a modern version of the Scandinavian dining chair classique. Like a school chair, it had to be both comfortable and very durable. The result is a simple, honest chair with a timeless expression. The NY11 chair features a solid oak frame with a steel footrest for plus comfort. Its minimal design allows it to be used in a variety of settings.
