Beige and yellow ceramic and canvas portable lamp 27x38x19cm Hornbæk - Gubi

Designed for the CORI Hornbæk hotel, this lamp translates the atmosphere of Denmark's northern coastline into a sculptural portable light. Inspired by sails billowing in the wind and by the lanterns guiding sailors along the shore, its design combines folded canvas lampshades with a hand-glazed ceramic base and a refined aged brass handle. The Poppy Yellow edition allows this model to travel beyond Hornbæk, while retaining its connection with its maritime origins. This colour adds a sunny touch, inspired by the golden light of summer evenings by the sea and by coastal flowers, a shade that evokes the gentle warmth of poppies in bloom.
