The Pao lamp collection is an exciting collaboration with the renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The name Pao is inspired by the soft and bright shape of traditional Mongolian tents illuminated at night. Designer Fukasawa decided to encapsulate the same atmospheric warmth and friendliness in the Pao steel suspension. Pao is inspired by Fukasawa's aesthetics of beautiful simplicity and creates an everyday object that draws inspiration from the design values existing in the natural world.
Keeping the aesthetics modest and simple, it puts the design in harmony with its environment, reinforcing its primary intention to make the atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. Thanks to the development of the latest LED bulb technology, the light source can be concealed, as the suspension is closed with a high-quality acrylic (PMMA) diffuser, resulting in a clean and simple design without visual intrusion. The shades of the suspension are made of steel with a high gloss finish and are available in different sizes and colours. Their functionality and simplicity of design make them suitable for a wide range of spaces and uses in both public and private environments.
