The collection lamp is an exciting collaboration with the renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Pao is named after the soft, bright shape of traditional Mongolian tents illuminated at night. Designer Fukasawa decided to encapsulate the same atmospheric warmth and friendliness in the Pao steel suspension. Pao is inspired by Fukasawa's aesthetic of beautiful simplicity and créer an everyday object that draws on the values of design existing in the natural world.
Keeping the aesthetics modeste and simple, it puts design in harmony with its environment, reinforcing its primary intention of making the atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. Thanks to the developments of the latestLED bulb technology, the light source can be hidden, as the suspension is closed with a high quality acrylic (PMMA) diffuser, resulting in a clean and simple design without visual intrusion. The shades of the suspension are made of steel with a glossy finish and are available in different sizes and colors. Their functionality and simplicity of design make them suitable for a wide range of spaces and uses in public or private environments.
