Silhouette is a collection rug designed by Jaime Hayon for indoor and outdoor use, showcasing the designer and artist's acclaimed laid-back style.
Depicted with a delicate line, the illustration defines the silhouettes of several imaginary characters who intertwine and cohabit in a beautiful composition. Hayon subtly introduces color through small elements full of personality that help interpret each of the images. Nine faces are set at different angles, so that the carpet can be seen from any angle perspective and fits perfectly into any space.
nanimarquina presents for the first time the embroidery technique on kilim, a laborious process made à la by hand in Pakistan, where chain-stitch embroidery adds texture and a soft volume that emphasizes the sinuosity of the illustration. Despite its delicate appearance, this is a robust technique suitable for both residential and commercial use. Available in two standard sizes, the interior model also includes a piece of tapestry that can be hung vertically.
