La Mère, the first line of ceramic tableware from Marie Michielssen, is a tender tribute à la figure to motherhood and to women in general. With a slightly nostalgic style, this tableware stands out for its originality, particularly thanks to its vertical structure. Each piece, hand- unique d and shaped, is enhanced with an off-white or warm dark brown, almost black, émail. Marie chose a bold Venetian red as a third contrasting color. This deliberate color choice by the designer allows for play on contrasts, pairing white with dark brown and red with dark brown.
