Off-white stoneware La Mère deep plate 23x4cm - Serax

La Mère, Marie Michielssen's first line of ceramic tableware, is a tender tribute to the maternal figure and to women in general. With a slightly nostalgic feel, this tableware stands out for its originality, thanks in particular to its vertical structure. Each piece, unique and shaped by hand, is finished with an off-white glaze or a warm, almost black, dark brown. Marie chose a bold Venetian red as a third, contrasting colour. This chromatic choice, a deliberate decision by the designer, makes it possible to play with contrasts, pairing white with dark brown and red with dark brown.
