A pop and sculptural design, Neotenic is a technical table lamp. The quality of the dimmable light is pleasant, even and powerful all at once.
The lamp's base is made by ceramicists in Portugal. The curve of the base calls for meticulous hand finishing beforehand, followed by drying against gravity. The paint is applied in one single gesture.

The first collaboration between Petite Friture and Studio Jumbo, the chunky look of NEOTENIC is sure to sweep you off your feet. The round, generous shapes of the collection echo the reassuring aesthetic of childhood.
Its manufacture is a genuine technical feat, combining craftsmanship and technical skill that defy the laws of physics. Made by ceramic artisans, the body requires a complex mould to achieve this rounded shape. The mouth-blown glass gives an opaline appearance that is soft to the touch, enhancing the sinuous lines of the ceramic and the quality of the light.
