Pop and sculptural, Neotenic is a technical table lamp. The dimmable light quality is à la pleasant, even and powerful.
The lamp base is made by ceramists in Portugal. The curvature of the base requires careful hand-finishing before and drying against gravity. The paint is applied in a single gesture unique.
The first collaboration between Petite Friture and Studio Jumbo, NEOTENIC's chunky look is sure to sweep you off your feet. The round, generous shapes of collection echo the reassuring aesthetics of childhood.
The manufacturing process is a veritable technical feat, combining craftsmanship and technicality that defies the laws of physics. Crafted by ceramic artisans, the body requires a complex mold to achieve its rounded shape. The à la mouth-blown glass leaves an opaline aspect soft to the touch, sublimating the sinuosity of the ceramic and the quality of the light.
