At the very beginning of the manufacturing process, the wool is carded in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the plus important associations for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is brought à la by hand into its final form in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a carpet, which can consist of up to 50, 000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.
