Ernie felt ball rug in light stone effect 90 cm - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet the German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh take on design was bound to win us over.

Made according to fair trade principles, the Ernie collection is crafted from large felt balls, each one shaped individually by hand.

A genuine eye-catcher, its felt balls take on the look of pebbles in a blend of grey tones that gives it a marbled, timeless effect.
As well as being a fascinating piece, Ernie brings softness and light to your living space.

Its round shape adds a touch of originality: it will easily find its place at the centre of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will enhance that effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations campaigning for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process developed especially by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative object made to the highest fair trade standards: now there's an idea that takes you places!
