Kurt felt ball rug in dark stone effect 140x200 cm - myfelt

Felt ball rugs are making their entrance at The Cool Republic: meet the German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Made in line with fair trade principles, the Kurt collection is crafted from large felt balls, each one shaped individually by hand.

A real eye-catcher, its felt balls take on the look of marbled pebbles in a blend of dark grey with lighter touches, lending a truly special atmosphere.
As well as being a fascinating piece, Kurt brings softness and light to your living space.

Its rectangular shape gives it an original twist: it will easily find its place in the middle of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will only enhance that effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading associations working towards a fair carpet industry.

Every single ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can contain more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique developed especially by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative piece made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you places!
