Scandinavian design boasts a number of armchairs that have become true icons. Normann Copenhagen adds a new chapter to this collection with the Era armchair. Both classic and welcoming, yet simple and pared-back, it fully embodies the charm and quality of Danish design: a certain idea of comfort without sacrificing any of its aesthetic appeal. Set on a chromed steel base designed to give you the very best support, Era features a high backrest that holds your back perfectly. With its slim, discreet armrests, shell-shaped seat, cushion and clean lines, Era proves to be an armchair of exceptional form and comfort. It is therefore with good reason that Normann Copenhagen has won the following awards for the design of this armchair: the German Design Award "Special Mention" 2015 and the Red Dot Award 2016, the result of international recognition for the research work of this Danish company, which with Era offers further proof of its commitment to design that is constantly evolving, flying the flag for Scandinavian tradition.
