The Pad lounge series draws its distinctive character from the combination of materials, tactility and form. Moulded oak veneer shells contrast with a soft, upholstered front section, while a metal frame adds both strength and lightness. In short, a balanced design that combines comfort and restraint, the classic and the forward-looking. Pad lounge chairs consist of a sturdy steel or aluminium frame, within which sections of robust oak veneer form the backrest and the seat. The veneer is padded with moulded PU foam, which is then upholstered by skilled craftspeople. The shape is square, yet perfectly rounded; organic texture and warmth flirt with cool sheen where wood, textile and metal meet. The front-upholstered design is as comfortable as it is elegant, making Pad the perfect addition to a sophisticated living room or lobby. The Pad series comprises a high and a low lounge chair, as well as a matching pouf. You can choose from three base variants: a static steel frame in black or grey, a flexible swivel base in black or polished aluminium, or a base with swivel and tilt function in black or polished aluminium for greater mobility. All three come in combination with a backrest in oak or black-painted oak, with upholstery available in three different qualities and a wide variety of shades. The cushion is made to order.
