When TOLIX was founded, Monsieur Pauchard found himself faced with unusable sheet metal offcuts. A pioneer of restraint and zero waste, he had understood a century before everyone else the need to remain frugal, even in a period of heavy consumption. And so, using these cutting residues, in 1935 he created a collection for his own children christened Mouette, comprising an armchair and a side table. TOLIX has decided to complete this collection with a stool, keeping only the seat and its 7 instantly recognisable holes, to offer a children's stool that is already as iconic as the H stool.
