Since 2010, Miguel Angel Garcia Belmonte has been paying homage to the artisan tradition of his hometown Totana with a design work mixing the work of the earth with the demand for contemporary forms. Modernizing production tools, he has made this heritage a reference in the art of ceramics in Spain.
Mediterranean at heart, inspired by the mineral, vegetal and living nature of this sea, Miguel Angel Garcia Belmonte designed this SpongeOh! suspension in the shape of a cone, with a strip of cells that resemble those of a sponge, creating an incredible light. Its rounded ceramic has been worked by hand to sensitively reproduce all the richness of these small perforations. Luminous dome at the edge of the milky way when the suspension is in the dark, it is an object of a surprising poetry that delivers Pott us.
