Taking the most elementary pieces of steel as its starting point, MSDS Studio has created a small architectural side table. Their "Stock" design presents metal in a raw, deconstructed manner, while retaining a delicate, rigid quality.

The unconventional arrangement of the table's legs highlights the strength of the material and produces an intriguing composition of elements. The aesthetic negative spaces – the airy open area beneath the tabletop and the triangle between the angled legs – stem from disregarding the traditional arrangement of table legs, thereby creating a new form of symmetry.

Stock appears as a small, austere piece of sculpture, which also serves as a practical and stable side table.
