Black polypropylene chair Allez Black - Normann Copenhagen

Discover the Allez chair, the first flat-pack chair from Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in France's cities in the late 19th century before being embraced all over the world, the Allez chair belongs to a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez places the soft curves and structural strength of the bistro chair in a contemporary context. The result is a versatile object that evokes the past while suiting an even wider range of settings and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy presence and a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest echo the lines of the body, while the curve below, along the seat, forms additional reinforcement that guarantees optimum sturdiness and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald aims to design honest objects, rethought for the needs of our times, and Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the desire to make a long-lasting object, Normann Copenhagen looked to other innovative sectors, such as the car industry, where replacing parts extends a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now brings this principle into furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials, with worn parts that can be replaced to extend its life.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to tuck away under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small home to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is delivered in separate parts, flat-packed. This compact form of packaging reduces CO2 emissions from transport, while making the chair easy and practical to take home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is easy to put together in just a few minutes.

Its contemporary design and the endless options it offers allow Allez to fit into any setting, making our living spaces a natural meeting point that encourages time spent in good company.

For terraces, pavements or parks, this chair is also available in moulded polyamide, with a discreet slot that allows water to drain away.
