Discover the Allez chair, the first flat-pack chair from Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in France's major cities at the end of the 19th century before being embraced all over the world, the Allez chair belongs to a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez brings the soft curves and structural strength of the bistro chair into a contemporary setting. The result is a versatile piece that evokes the past while suiting even more environments and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy presence and a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest echo the lines of the body, while the curve beneath, running along the seat, acts as additional reinforcement for optimum strength and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald sets out to develop honest objects, rethought for the needs of our time, and Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the ambition to develop a long-lasting object, Normann Copenhagen looked to other innovative sectors, such as the automotive industry, where replacing parts extends a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now introduces this principle into furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials, with worn parts that can be replaced in order to extend its lifespan.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to tuck under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small home to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is supplied in separate parts, packed flat. This compact form of packaging reduces CO2 emissions from transport while making the chair easy and practical to take home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is simple to put together in just a few minutes.

Its contemporary design and the endless options available allow Allez to fit into any environment and turn our living spaces into a natural meeting point, encouraging time spent in good company.
