Oku square coffee table in black oak 80 x 80 cm - NORR11

An interpretation of the Japanese word Ōku, meaning oak, this coffee table refers to the very essence of its making. Exploring the balance between lightness and heaviness, Oku aims to combine a paper-thin appearance with genuine sturdiness. The design therefore highlights the natural material, with a nod to the refinement it is so commonly given.
The top of the Oku table is made of oak veneer with rounded edges, adding a refined detail to the large surface. The legs, made from turned sections of oak, are positioned sporadically to create the illusion of a floating top, while adding a sculptural detail to the table.
