A worthy heir to the Scandinavian tradition, designer Emil Thorup sought to give this dining table outstanding functionality together with the most pared-back of looks. Perfect in its proportions, it is particularly elegant thanks to the slenderness of its base. The latter supports a top made up of eight square pieces of black marble, carefully assembled and forming a unique pattern thanks to the veining of the marble. Emil Thorup notes that the slenderness of the legs was particularly difficult to achieve given the weight of the marble they had to bear, but HANDVÄRK cleverly resolved this technical challenge, ultimately producing this thoroughbred table. Made in Denmark, it has indeed benefited from the great expertise of the craftsmen working for this renowned company.
