Black brown steel children's armchair Mouette - Tolix

When TOLIX was launched, Monsieur Pauchard found himself faced with offcuts of sheet metal that could not be used. A pioneer of restraint and zero waste, he had understood a century before everyone else the need to remain frugal, even in a period of high consumption. So, using these cutting residues, in 1935 he created a collection for his own children named Mouette, comprising an armchair and a side table. Starting from the seat of TOLIX's Tabouret H, and drawing on skilful folding, turned-down angles and riveting, the armchair cuts a fine figure and calls for the same degree of exacting standards in its making as the brand's iconic models. Its sturdiness is therefore a guarantee of quality and longevity, making the Mouette Armchair a charming object to pass down from generation to generation.
