The "Le Roi" bench, inspired by French royalty, is crafted from certified solid oak with natural French rattan. It was designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl.

The name 'Le Roi' refers to the French word for 'king', while the series as a whole illustrates a minimalist interpretation of rattan furniture from the French colonial period, fused with Scandinavian style.

The bench consists of a solid oak wooden frame supporting a seat made from woven rattan. Beautifully set into the frame using a traditional technique, the cane work blends perfectly into its surroundings and highlights the simplicity of the bench's construction. The bench can be used as extra seating in a living room or dining room, but also as a coffee table or a practical seat in a hallway and/or bedroom. Countless ways to show off this superb piece of furniture, which is both timeless and functional — and quite simply sublime.

Available in black smoked oak.
