The " Le Roi " bench, inspired by the French royalty, is made of certified solid oak with natural French rattan

. It was designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl.

The name ' Le Roi ' refers to the French word 'roi', while à la series in general illustrates a minimalist interpretation of rattan furniture from the French colonial period fused with Scandinavian style

.

The bench consists of a solid oak wooden frame on which rests the seat made from woven rattan. Beautifully inserted into the frame in a traditional way, the cannage fits perfectly into its environment and emphasizes the simplicity of the bench's construction. The bench can be used as additional seating in a living room or dining room, but also as a practical coffee table or seat in an entrance hall and/or bedroom.
