It showcases the work of a selection of renowned designers and architects, such as Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Mauricio Klabin, on a global scale.
Objekto breaks with conventional wisdom and the prevailing monotony by creating products that are both original and functional, yet always evoke emotion. Under the inspired guidance of its designers, folklore, constructivist and functionalist concepts have been combined to create sophisticated and innovative furniture and lighting, whilst retaining the imagination and poetry of form.
Their designs and materials are 100 per cent produced in Europe: recycled steel from France and Italy, cotton canvas from the Vosges, timber from sustainably managed forests in Central Europe, and leather from France, tanned using a traditional method free from chromium and other heavy metals.
For Objekto, a strong and healthy relationship between the designer and the publisher, a shared objective underpinned by complementary talents, and a mutual understanding between all parties are the keys to success. Respect for the designer’s vision forms the basis of a relationship built on trust. The products are developed and manufactured in accordance with the designer’s wishes and recommendations.
Objekto is deeply committed to environmental protection and the quality of its materials. Quality begins with the selection of materials sourced from reputable and reliable suppliers. Their furniture is manufactured to rigorous standards by highly skilled operatives and craftsmen. Before being packed, each of their products undergoes a thorough quality control check.
Due to their artistic value and unique creative nature, all designs produced by Objekto are protected by copyright. Legal protection is guaranteed throughout the author’s lifetime and for 70 years after their death. Objekto is actively involved, alongside other manufacturers, in combating all forms of copying.
