Wooden Benches

Wooden benches hold a singular place in contemporary furniture: at once a functional seat, a sculptural object and a space divider. The Cool Republic brings together 70 models from leading European design publishers, ranging from pared-back silhouettes to more organic forms, as well as interpretations inspired by the antique wooden bench, revisited with current finishes in oiled oak, solid walnut or natural teak.

These benches suit both residential interiors and demanding interior architecture projects. In an entryway, at the foot of a bed, alongside a dining table or on a terrace, the natural wood bench structures a space without weighing it down. Among the standout pieces in the selection are the Rel Bench by Normann Copenhagen, with its steel legs contrasting with the solid oak top, and the Nak bench by Mobles 114, an example of formal rationalism applied to wood.

For outdoor use, models treated in teak or acacia meet climatic constraints without sacrificing aesthetics: the outdoor wooden bench becomes a coherent extension of indoor furniture. Dimensions range from 80 cm to over 200 cm, adapting to every configuration.
