The Jordi collection of paring knives designed by Atelier Miguel celebrates the art of cutting. This is the ideal knife for deveining prawns or making small incisions in meat and fish.

All Atelier Miguel knives are handmade. French Z40 stainless steel is used for most of the blades, with the advantage of being highly durable, rust-free and requiring no particular maintenance. Always with an eco-responsible approach, the woods used to make the knives mostly come from French forests and are sourced from donations or salvage.

Care : To sharpen the knife, a few back-and-forth strokes with a sharpening steel will straighten the edge and restore a good cutting edge. For a more thorough sharpening, you can use a whetstone, whilst maintaining a constant angle of between 20° and 30°. To restore the wood’s natural lustre, you can apply vegetable oil – such as linseed oil, sweet almond oil or grapeseed oil – once or twice a year. Do not immerse the handle in water to ensure the wood retains its lustre.
