The story of the T37 chair began in 1935, when the city of Paris launched public tenders in preparation for the 24th World's Fair of 1937. More than 12,000 chairs and armchairs were produced to furnish over a hundred hectares of public gardens. Now approaching its 90th birthday, its bold lines and thoroughly contemporary silhouette deserve to reclaim their place in today's gardens and interiors. A warm colour palette has been created especially for it, giving it an even stronger identity.
