Materials: birch plywood top sourced from sustainably managed European forests (certified). This manufacturing technique results in a very strong and rigid panel. The legs and support beams are made of steel, a material that is both highly durable and infinitely recyclable (it is the most recycled material in the world).
There are few components, all of which are functional, robust and easily repairable if necessary.
Package contents:
- 1 table top with a white laminated birch plywood finish. All the wood is certified and sourced from Europe (choice of size).
- 2 steel legs (choice of colour)
- 2 stainless steel support beams
- 4 screws to secure the top to the frame
- 2 adjustable crossbars for the 2 largest sizes (+ 2 screws per crossbar to secure them to the top)
Delivery: flat-packed to minimise the environmental impact during storage and dispatch, and the packaging is made from at least 80% recycled paper.

The NEW MODERN dining table in laminated plywood is ideal for 6 to 10 people depending on the dimensions chosen.
The NEW MODERN table system enriches TIPTOE's classic range and its table legs by offering new uses and dimensions. The name NEW MODERN is a tribute to the "Modern" movement that shaped the history of architecture and furniture between 1950 and 1980 by offering clean-lined pieces that were both beautiful and highly functional and hard-wearing.

A NEW MODERN table consists of 2 steel leg sets into which two stainless steel support beams are fitted. The tabletop slots onto the structure to be screwed into place ((for the largest formats, a movable crossbar completes the assembly at the centre of the tabletop).

NEW MODERN is the result of a year of work and iterations to create a modular table system that is as effective in functional and industrial terms as it is in terms of sustainability. The NEW MODERN tabletops in recycled plastic are made in the United Kingdom, , the steel leg sets in Bulgaria, while all the precision mechanical parts and assembly elements come from our family workshops in France near Chamonix.
Final assembly takes place in France in an ESAT, a medico-social establishment working for the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.
