Tripod, a table lamp in powder-coated steel with brass details, reflects the pared-back minimalism of the historic Copenhagen-based duo Hvidt & Mølgaard. Regarded as masters of mid-century Danish design, their pieces often lend a sculptural element to the spaces they inhabit. For easy articulation and more precise light, a pivoting joint was developed – a feature now found across the entire Tripod range.

Manufacturing process The lampshade is made from a single piece of aluminium and attached to the base by a swivel joint. The base consists of steel tubes that have been bent and welded together. The lamp has a matt satin lacquer finish, whilst the lampshade and swivel joint are made of brass.
