Warm grey polypropylene chair with moulded cane seat Allez Warm Grey - Normann Copenhagen

Discover the Allez chair, the first flat-pack chair from Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in France's major cities at the end of the 19th century, before being adopted all over the world, the Allez chair belongs to a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez places the soft curves and structural strength of the bistro chair in a contemporary context. The result is a versatile object that evokes the past while adapting to even more environments and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy appearance, with a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest recall the lines of the body, and the curve at the bottom, along the seat, forms an additional reinforcement ensuring optimum strength and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald sets out to create honest objects, rethought for the needs of our times, and the creation of Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the desire to create a long-lasting object, Normann Copenhagen took inspiration from other innovative sectors, such as the automotive industry, where replacing parts makes it possible to extend a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now introduces this principle into furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials and whose worn parts can be replaced in order to extend its lifespan.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to tuck away under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small interior to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is delivered in separate parts, packed flat. This compact form of packaging reduces CO2 emissions from transport, while making this chair easy and practical to take home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is easy to put together in just a few minutes.

Its contemporary design and the endless options it offers allow Allez to adapt to any environment and create a natural meeting point in our living spaces, encouraging moments spent in good company.

To bring French bistro charm to your restaurant or private terrace, the seat of the Allez chair is also available in injection-moulded wickerwork. For terraces, pavements or parks, this chair comes in moulded polyamide, with a discreet slot allowing water to drain away.
