Warm grey chair with oak legs Allez Warm Grey - Normann Copenhagen

Discover the Allez chair, the first flat-pack chair from Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in France's major cities in the late 19th century before being embraced all over the world, the Allez chair belongs to a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez places the gentle curves and structural strength of the bistro chair in a contemporary context. The result is a versatile object that evokes the past while suiting even more environments and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy appearance with a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest echo the lines of the body, while the curve at the bottom, along the seat, forms additional reinforcement ensuring optimum sturdiness and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald sets out to develop honest objects, rethought for the needs of our times, and the creation of Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the desire to develop a long-lasting object, Normann Copenhagen looked to other innovative sectors, such as the automotive industry, where replacing parts extends a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now introduces this principle to furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials, with worn parts that can be replaced in order to extend its lifespan.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to tuck away under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small home to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is delivered in separate parts, packed flat. This compact form of packaging reduces CO2 emissions from transport while making the chair easy and convenient to carry home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is easily put together in just a few minutes.

Its contemporary design and the endless options available allow Allez to fit into any environment, making our living spaces a natural meeting point that encourages time spent in good company.

To add more contrast and a touch of warmth, the base of this chair is made of oak, perfect in a dining room as well as in a restaurant dining area.
