Chadophe, designed by French designer Patrick Paris, is a concave reflector in dense concrete that generates a large, mysterious spot of light, surrounded by a circular ombre stretching across the wall. The wall and ombre are the central elements of this sconce, hence the name Chadophe, a phonetic adaptation of the English word " shadow ". With a three-point suspension, the sconce can be mounted in different ways on the wall, creating a captivating play of light and shadow when several lamps are combined.
