This model bridges past and present. Its reissue is faithful to the original: the base and stem, available in chrome or anthracite, are made of steel, a difficult material to work with, typical of the industry of that era. In the 1970s, mastering steel bending was a true innovation, a major challenge that persists even today. This is why Lauro is also a contemporary design, as it highlights the technical prowess of half a century ago. Its methacrylate shade is available in translucent opal, diffusing soft light, or in two-layer black for direct lighting.
As with the original collection, Lauro is available as a table lamp (41 cm high with a 38 cm base) and as a floor lamp with the same base but a height of 135 cm, and now also as a wall light, with a height of 50 cm.
