Kabin is a series of vases inspired by the classic, simple forms of Japanese craftsmanship. The large table vases offer the same stability and complexity as traditional Japanese tea bowls, and the oval-shaped bodies rest on a small foot or pedestal, adding refinement à la form classique. The Kabin series is a story of amour between Japanese and Scandinavian craftsmanship, which has given rise to this collection minimalist vase in four different structures.
Kabin Shisen is a new edition of the Kabin series, offering a detailed finish unique, with the attempt to créer a unique surface of hundreds of small circles fading into a tactile pattern. Shisen means "net" or "way of looking at things" in Japanese.
