Off-white stoneware vase Les Femmes S 02 - Serax

The Les Femmes vase series draws inspiration from the image of the universal strong woman. The emphasis on the hands and eyes is characteristic of designer Marie Michielssen. The eyes represent the mirrors of the soul, while the hands symbolise gentleness and kindness, as well as creativity. Refined little details, such as the ornaments in the hair and the clothing, contrast with the slightly raw appearance of the grog that Marie has added to the clay. The interior and the base are covered with a matt transparent glaze.
