Love in Bloom Kintsugi porcelain vase - Seletti

To all the lovers of the iconic Love in Bloom vase by Seletti, discover it here in a so-called Kintsugi version. What's that, you ask? The Kintsugi vase draws its inspiration from an ancestral Japanese technique for repairing porcelain and ceramics. The idea is to enhance with gold objects of sentimental value that have suffered various injuries over the course of their use.

Beyond the original inspiration, the result is different, more colourful, yet never over the top. It can be displayed on its own, as a work of art in its own right. Here, the flowers have been woven into the heart through its veins, as though the heart were the bulb from which the buds of feeling emerge. This heart has lived and now, with its pieces joined by gold, it tells us its story with a strong identity and aesthetic.
