Blown glass vase grey 31 cm Tombola Grey - Normann Copenhagen

The vase was designed by Mendel Heit, a designer whose inspiration comes from a blend of new technologies, traditional craftsmanship, contemporary society and local heritage. For Mendel Heit, design is a space for endless creation. As technologies advance and culture evolves, he continues to find new challenges and new possibilities to explore.

Tombola came about in a rather serendipitous way. Building blocks based on eight abstract shapes were combined in a random order to produce the unique surface structure of the glass vase.
A strong source of inspiration came from modular building blocks such as LEGO bricks. The greatest inspiration came from observing craftspeople such as glassblowers and ceramicists.

The reliefs of the coloured glass play with shadow and light, giving Tombola an artistic character. Available in two sizes and two colours.
