Vase en verre vert jade Gemstone - HKLIVING

Like an oversized gemstone, this glass vase combines clean lines with soft, faceted surfaces. Its slightly angled planes capture and diffuse light, giving the work depth and movement from every angle. Sculptural in its presence yet functional in its use, it stands alone or can serve as a vase for branches or flowers – a centrepiece that is both refined and raw.

Collaborating with glass artist Nienke Sikkema was less a collaboration than an immersion into another world. Her world is made of fluid temporalities, controlled chaos, and forms that seem to sculpt light. Together, we created a collection of glass objects that evoke contemporary gemstones – dense, luminous, and slightly untamed.
