Turquoise felt ball rug 70x100 cm Weave - myfelt

Felt ball rugs have arrived at The Cool Republic: meet the German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Made in line with fair trade principles, the Collection range is crafted from large felt balls, each one individually shaped by hand.

Its contrasting colours and graphic patterns add a touch of originality: the Weave rug by myfelt will easily find its place at the heart of a living room or a bedroom.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is carded in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, approved by GoodWeave, one of the most important associations working towards a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is brought to its final shape by hand over several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of as many as 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative piece made to the highest fair trade standards – now there's an idea that takes you places!
