The transformation of Bellhop: a classique by Barber Osgerby returns in glass One of Barber Osgerby's iconic plus designs for Flos, Bellhop, has evolved from a compact, colorful portable lamp to a full-scale glass lamp, exploring the legendary design in a new material gesture and taking it to new aesthetic and technical possibilities.
With this new evolution, Barber & Osgerby wanted to achieve a soft, warm and welcoming ambient light, to illuminate plus large spaces without créer strong contrasts. Hence the idea of a glass diffuser, developed in collaboration with Flos 's R&D department.
