Designed by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira, the Barro oval platter is part of a collection range of tableware that brings the warmth and beautiful simplicity of terracotta to the à la table.
Meaning "red clay" in Portuguese, Barro represents the designer's appreciation of the traditions and uses of this ancient material. Made in Portugal from durable terracotta, the dish can be used at four as well as a decorative serving dish. Available in two sizes in natural or high-gloss glaze options or with hand-painted à la stripes, the Barro oval dish can be used on its own or with other Barro tableware for créer personalized table settings.
