The Shelly candle holder by Broste Copenhagen plays on a slender silhouette, set on a compact round base. Its simple, almost sculptural form allows it to slip onto the centre of a table as well as a mantelpiece or a shelf.
It is made from ceramic with reactive glaze, a firing technique that varies the nuances and surface effects from one piece to another. The White Cream finish softens the whole and reveals these material variations, unique to each piece.
Presented alone, it is enough to punctuate a table. Combined with other models from the Shelly family, it composes a line of contrasting heights and volumes, for a discreet collection effect.
