The iconic Panthella lamp from 1971 is one of the most popular lamps by designer and architect Verner Panton (1926-1998). When the Panthella models first appeared, Verner Panton designed them with a translucent opal lampshade. This original finish was later reintroduced and, combined with the materials, gave the Panthella an elegant, contemporary look.
