Bagatelle square side table in dark rattan with red resin trim 77 x 70 x 70 - KOK

The Bagatelle rattan side table is highly representative of KOK's architectural identity.

On the one hand, the brand calls upon certain noble materials such as pine and rattan, along with particular techniques for assembling materials such as woven wood, in order to evoke a meeting that is situated both historically and geographically: that of Oriental weaving expertise and Western industrial furniture, with its simple shapes.

On the other hand, this historical revival also carries a cultural project: contrary to the colonial perspective, this furniture invites us to grasp the different cultural approaches to living beings and non-humans in their complementarity. The interlacing motif and the influences of either Art Nouveau or the Belle Époque, combined with woodwork, mark here a shift from encounter to dialogue, from opposition to association.

Here it is through this table that this multicultural dialogue is forged, both rooted in history and turned towards the future.
