Care : This piece combines the natural durability of limestone with the refined sheen of chrome (Cr III). Both materials require careful maintenance to preserve their beauty and integrity. For limestone surfaces, dust them regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Clean them with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly to avoid water marks. As limestone is porous, wipe up any spilt liquids immediately to prevent absorption and staining. Always use coasters, placemats or table mats to protect the stone from heat, liquids and grease. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, vinegar, citrus fruits and abrasive pads, which could damage or scratch the stone. For long-lasting protection, applying a professional sealant is recommended to improve stain resistance whilst preserving its natural texture. For chrome (Cr III) components, wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately to preserve their shine. Occasional polishing with a clean, dry cloth will help maintain their lustre. Avoid abrasive scourers and harsh chemicals such as bleach or ammonia, which can scratch or dull the surface. With careful maintenance, the combination of the earthy presence of limestone and the crisp shine of chrome will age gracefully, ensuring that the piece retains its natural depth and refined details for many years to come.
